REQUIREMENTS FOR COACHES IN OPEN AGE TEAMS

Do you coach/manager an open age team? Are you the first aider/physio of an open age team? Do you have any U18s players, even one 16 or 17-year-old within that team? If so, please read the information below. 
• It is an FA safeguarding requirement that you must hold an FA DBS as these players are still children in the eyes of the law. By law, anyone in regular activity with U18s is required to have a DBS check. Click here for details. 

• You must also be named as the coach/manager of your team within The Whole Game System

• Your club must adopt and adhere to the Safeguarding Children Policy. Click here for details.
