Sham Khan

Sham Shortlisted for Woman of the Year Accolade

North Riding FA’s Sham Khan has been shortlisted for a prestigious award at the Tees Valley BME Achievement Awards.

Our amazing Sham Khan, who works as a Game Changer on our Shape The Play project in Stockton-on-Tees, has been shortlisted as a ‘Woman of the Year’ at the Tees Valley BME Achievement Awards, which take place on Friday 3 November.

Those of you that know Sham well will know how deserving she is of this.

Sham has been nothing short of remarkable since joining our project, always eager to learn and showing great resilience.

The Tees Valley BME Awards provides an essential and well-deserved platform for service providers and community members alike to share in this unique experience, to celebrate achievements across the board.

From personal achievements, to collective success for organisations who have advanced the opportunities for BME communities and demonstrated positive change, these awards are a prestigious acknowledgement for excellent work being carried out.

Regardless of whether she wins on Friday we are simply excited to see what Sham does next!

Best of luck, Sham!
