On International Women’s Day 2022, North Riding FA is delighted to be launching the Lionesses Coaching Club – the perfect place for female coaches to develop knowledge and confidence when coaching the game.

Open to all females aged 14+, the Lionesses Coaching Club will consist of a mixture of informative face-to-face and online workshops, helping females to network with other coaches who have the same passion for the game. 

Furthermore, Suey Smith, FA Regional Coach Development Officer, will be supporting North Riding FA in the release of the programme and will be involved in the delivery of the workshops around York, Middlesbrough and Scarborough.

Speaking about the Lionesses Coaching Club, Suey said: “This is a great initiative to really enable female coaches to create a network, gain support – and most importantly, have the confidence to step out onto the pitch.”
