North Riding FA was saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Cooke, who sadly lost his battle with cancer at the weekend.

Steve was involved at Northallerton JFC for 35 years, taking on the role of coach, assistant coach, Chairman, Secretary and many others, giving up so much of his time for grassroots football in the local area.

Steve is a true grassroots hero, who dedicated thousands of hours to volunteering so that kids could play football.

North Riding FA would like to offer its condolences to Steve’s family and friends at this sad time.
