North Riding County are fully committed to supporting our referees, ensuring you feel valued and have the opportunity to voice your opinions freely to help us improve.
As such, we are launching a new ‘Match Official Consultation Group’ which aims to meet quarterly (via Zoom) to give our referee workforce the opportunity to have a direct and regular ‘voice’ into the County FA on how we can better support, develop & retain you as referees.
We are looking for people to sit on this group and be a point of contact in their areas for other local referees to voice their opinions and offer any thoughts on how we can make the grassroots refereeing experience even better.
If you are interested, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org referencing ‘Match Official Consultation Group Application’ and why you think you would make a good candidate.
The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 21 February.
Depending on the number of applications, we may hold a vote for prospective candidates. We are looking for around 6-8 candidates to sit on the group which will include members of our local Referee Associations societies.
Applicants must be 18 years of age.
We will be doing further regular consultation with our U18 Referee workforce and we hope to kick off the Match Official Consultation Group around Spring time.
