It has been the intention of North Riding FA since the outset to conclude the 2019/20 County Cup competitions if possible and without impacting upon the resumption of leagues. 
Therefore, the Competitions Committee of North Riding FA met this morning and have agreed the following measures in relation to the conclusion of our competitions.

All competitions must be completed on or before 31st August 2020.

Adult Competitions

The finals of all adult cup competitions (excluding the Senior Cup) will take place on the home ground of one of the competing finalists. The venues were decided by a coin toss. If the selected venue is unavailable then the game will be switched to the ground of the opposing team.

Junior Cups

All remaining semi-final ties must be played on or before Sunday 9th August. The dates of these ties are to be agreed by the competing teams and confirmation must be provided to North Riding FA no later than 7 days in advance of the tie so that a match official can be appointed. If an agreement cannot be reached then North Riding FA will set the date and kick-off time for the tie.

Player Eligibility

The following criteria will apply in relation to player eligibility for the semi-finals and finals:

• All competing clubs must have completed their 2020/21 affiliation to North Riding FA
• All players must be registered with their respective club for the 2020/21 season
• Players who played in the 2019/20 competition for a previous club will remain cup tied
• There are no eligibility criteria in relation to player appearances to allow them to appear in a semi-final or final tie

Any club which is unable to fulfil a fixture will be allowed to withdraw from the respective competition and no fine will be placed upon the club. Where this applies to a Final Tie the opposition will be awarded the trophy.
