The North Riding FA Junior Disability League continued on Saturday 22 February.
A partnership between the County FA and the MFC Foundation new for 2020, the league gives competitive football opportunities to players with a range of disabilities.
The latest round of fixtures in the under-12 age group took place at Laurence Jackson Sports Village on Saturday, with Boro Rangers U12 Soccability and South Tyneside Ability Football Club U12 twice facing each other.
A league coach said: “What a fantastic day we had, even though there were only two teams playing. The atmosphere, the gamesmanship, the hospitality and the way everyone from players, coaches, parents and guardians enjoyed themselves was second to none. Once again, thank you for giving my kids the opportunity to get game time and build friendships outside of their comfort zones.”
