Safeguarding Support and Education Sessions

Sessions are planned for the New Year

North Riding FA is pleased to announce that it has safeguarding support and education sessions planned for the New Year.
Last season we offered sessions on Adult Safeguarding, DBS Integration, Autism Awareness and we aren’t going to let the pandemic stand in the way of offering you additional support where we can, although we may deliver it slightly differently.

Below are our planned sessions:

Thursday 7 January – WO Support session including updates
Wednesday 3 February Children’s Mental Health & Online Safety
March TBC – Guest Speaker
April TBC – Guest Speaker
Tuesday 18 May – Safeguarding Adults & their Mental Health

Although some topics have been pre-determined to fit around national awareness weeks, we would welcome any feedback or ideas on topics for other sessions. We would like you to tell us what you would like more information on or how we can best support our welfare officers.

Likewise, if you are able to deliver a session, then please get in touch. Maybe you deliver presentations in your professional role or hold a skill set in a relevant subject that you could share to our network of welfare officers, or can recommend any organisation that can? Either way, please let us know by emailing support@northridingfa.com

We will be in touch closer to each event to share further information.
