North Riding FA Release ICE Poster for Referees

All referees are encouraged to carry this with them in their matchday referee book

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and safeguarding our affiliated referees, North Riding FA has today released an ICE (in case of emergency) poster for referees to ensure their emergency contact details are available in the unlikely event an urgent call needed to be made on their behalf.
All referees are encouraged to carry this with them in their matchday referee book, in case of an emergency.

Ross Joyce, Referee Development Manager at North Riding FA, said: “Here at North Riding FA we work hard to ensure all referees feel safe and supported in all areas of their role as a match official.

“Previously we’ve launched a Respect Armband for U18 referees, a 24-hour support hotline, a referee assault policy and many more local initiatives; all of which have been positively received by our referee workforce. We’re pleased to launch this latest initiative and I encourage our referees to download the ICE poster via the link below, fill out their details and keep a copy with them in the unlikely case of an emergency.”
