FA Referee Courses - 2022/23
North Riding FA can confirm that we will be running one final course for season 2022/23 as below.
Further information can be seen below and if you're interested in securing a place, please email support@northridingfa.com
NEXT STEPS...
Before we can allow candidates onto one of our FA Referee Courses, they must first have completed a Learn The Laws Module and completed an FA Online Safeguarding Course, with it registered on their own FAN record.
The online Learn the Laws Learning Module can be accessed at:
https://falearning.thefa.com/course/view.php?id=1804
If you are under the age of 16, or a parent / guardian, you might find the information at the refereeing help centre useful when logging in. Please access it at:
https://help.thefa.com/support/solutions/7000014796
The Online Safeguarding Course can be accessed at:
https://thebootroom.thefa.com/learning/qualifications/safeguarding-courses
All candidates can currently complete the ‘Safeguarding for All’ course option, and Learn the Laws Learning Modules, for FREE of charge using their unique FAN number.
The Safeguarding for All course will take around 45 minutes to complete. The Learn the Laws Learning Modules will take around 90 minutes to complete.
FA DBS (Criminal Record Check)
All candidates who plan to referee within youth football, will also require to have an in-date FA DBS (those who are 16 years of age +) before we can register them as a referee.
Further information on this process will be sent at a later date, once candidates have a confirmed FA Referee Course booking with us. We will arrange verification sessions ahead of you attending an FA Referee Course.
Should you require any further information, please email support@northridingfa.com
