Chair of the Board of Directors - Vacancy

Following confirmation of the existing Chairman’s intention to stand down at this year’s AGM, North Riding FA has a vacancy for the position of Chair of the Board of Directors.

We are particularly looking for people with skills / experience in any of the following areas:

Business Management & Development
Strategic Planning
Knowledge & understanding of the grassroots football landscape

Help us achieve our vision

We are seeking an inspirational Chair who will: help North Riding FA to realise our vision of widening participation in football across the county; modernise the business and ensure we deliver excellent financial results .

It is important that the Board reflects the communities that we serve and we are therefore particularly interested in attracting people with disabilities and those from BAME communities.

All candidates will need to have a real empathy with the work of North Riding FA, good business and communication skills and be willing to commit to attending regular Board meetings, as well as strategic and stakeholder events. Board meetings are normally held in Stokesley.

Board Members receive a casual car user allowance of 40p per mile to attend meetings.
