SUPPORTING OUR ADULT FOOTBALL NETWORK

In partnership with Middlesbrough Council, North Riding FA is delivering a FREE Adult Safeguarding Workshop at Teesside University on Tuesday 19 November (6-8pm).

Aimed at supporting our adult football network, this FREE workshop will focus on various areas of adult safeguarding including mental health, with Mental Health Awareness Campaigner Colin Dolan set to speak on the subject. 

In the UK men are three times more likely to commit suicide than women and in 2018, suicide rates increased by 10.9%. 

This workshop will help our network of volunteers and players spot the signs of mental health problems, whilst providing information on how they can support each other and who they can turn to for help.
