New SSE Wildcats Centres to Launch in April
North Riding County FA is delighted to announce that 20 new SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres will be starting around the county in April 2019.
These new centres will join our 11 current centres from 2018, meaning there will be a total of 31 centres spread across the county.
All of our SSE Wildcats Centres are designed to give girls aged 5-11 their first experience of playing football in a fun and safe environment. All centres have FA qualified coaches with exit routes into grassroots football and SSE Wildcats training.
Donna Crowthers, North Riding FA Football Development Officer, said: “The SSE Wildcats programme is a fantastic chance to offer every single girl aged 5-11 the chance to try the sport and hopefully fall in love with it. The fact we have 31 centres in our county alone is testament to our delivery partners, who have all shown a fantastic passion for growing the female game.”
