There are now spaces available on North Riding FA’s Welfare Officers Workshop on Wednesday 19 June at the County FA HQ.
The workshop is mandatory for any individual taking on the role of Welfare Officer for either a grassroots football club or league in North Riding.
It will build on the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop by providing attendees with specifics of the Welfare Officer role, including what needs to be in place to safeguard children and act on reported concerns about poor practice and abuse within or outside football.
Learners are required to have completed The FA’s Safeguarding Children Workshop before attending this workshop. It is also mandatory for anyone taking on the role of Welfare Officer to have an accepted FA CRB check.
The workshop is set to run between 6pm and 9pm and costs £25 to attend.
Places can be booked by following the link below.
