North Riding FA will be hosting an FA Welfare Officer Workshop at its Broughton Road headquarters on Tuesday 22 January – mandatory for anyone taking on the role of Welfare Officer for their grassroots club or league.
Running from 6pm-9pm and priced at just £25, this workshop builds on the Safeguarding Children Workshop by providing Welfare Officers with the specifics of their role; what will be required of them, where to go for professional support and how to access more information.
The three-hour, interactive workshop will include a number of group activities.
Learners are required to have completed The FA’s Safeguarding Children Workshop before completing this workshop. It’s also mandatory for anyone taking on the role of Welfare Officer to have an accepted FA CRB check, so learners are advised to have as a minimum submitted their CRB application prior to attending this training.
Spaces must be booked online via the link below. Should you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
