North Riding FA was sad to learn that local referee Bill Burns passed away on Friday evening. 

Bill was an active referee on the Football League for over 20 years, whilst being a great supporter of local football in the Scarborough and wider North Yorkshire area.

Our thoughts are with Bill’s family and friends at this very sad time.

Time: 1pm 

Venue: St Mark’s Church, Coldyhill Lane, Scarborough, YO12 6SD

Funeral followed by interment in Woodlands Cemetery. After the interment refreshments will be available in the Function Room at The Flamingo Land Stadium.
