Youth Council Recruitment for Season 2018-19
We are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for the 2018-19 North Riding FA Youth Council.
We are looking for young people between the ages of 14-24 from all over the county to represent children and young people and to help shape and develop football in North Riding.
Our vision is to inspire and develop our beautiful game. Alongside this we want to empower and provide a voice for all children and young people to influence change, and develop a lasting legacy in football.
This newly appointed team of young people will have an impact on increasing the number of children and young people (CYP) participating and volunteering in football, as well as developing a vast CYP network within the North Riding County FA.
All roles with The NRFA Youth Council are voluntary. However, out of pocket expenses will be covered with the prior approval of FA staff.
Recognising diversity and promoting inclusion is a priority for The North Riding FA in our efforts to make football a game For All. We recognise that football’s workforce should represent wider society, therefore especially welcome applications from females, those from diverse ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities, from diverse faith groups and from the LGBT communities (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender).
Successful candidates will be expected to attend a minimum of three North Riding FA Youth Council meetings throughout the year. Meetings are usually held in a central location of the county.
Please return all completed applications and support material to andy.clay@northridingfa.com by Wednesday 31 October 2018.
