Welfare Officers across North Riding are invited to join us at the County FA’s headquarters for a Welfare Officer Workshop, taking place on Tuesday 17 July between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.
This three-hour workshop is mandatory for anyone taking on the role of Welfare Officer for their grassroots club or league. The workshop builds on the Safeguarding Children Workshop providing Welfare Officers with the specifics of their role; what will be required of them, where to go for professional support and guidance, and how to access more information.
It also provides the key tools to carry out the Welfare Officer role, with learners advised that they will be involved in a number of group activities as part of this interactive workshop.
The course is £25 to enrol on and spaces can be booked online.
