FAQs

Absolutely. The FA runs events all over the country and for all levels. To explore events please visit our national CPD events page here.

If you're an FA Level 1 or 2 learner, continuous professional development hours are optional and so there is no longer a requirement for licensing .

If you're a UEFA qualified coach, however, you are required to complete 15 hours of CPD every three years to maintain your licence, which The FA recommends is best achieved by completing 5 hours per season

SKILLS & TACTICS UNDERSTANDING

As part of our Female Coach Development Club, coaches can enjoy a live match observation to form our next CPD workshop.

Taking place on Sunday 28 April, Skills and Tactics Understanding focuses on the fixture between Redcar Town Ladies and Bradford City AFC Women.

Hosted at Mo Mowlam Memorial Park, the workshop will start at 12pm and run to 3pm, counting as three accredited CPD hours.

After meeting at 12pm, the session will start with a pre-match ‘Understanding Skills and Tactics’ introduction in the clubhouse from 12pm to 12.30pm.

Coaches will then watch the pre-match warm-up for coaching observations, and between 2pm and 2.45pm, there will be a first-half game observation task focusing on skills and tactics understanding. Coaches are welcome to stay and simply enjoy the second half.
