Safeguarding Adults Week
North Riding FA is proud to support the Ann Craft Trust’s Safeguarding Adults Week, which runs from 18 to 22 November 2024.
Safeguarding will always be a key priority for us as a County FA; an area of work which focuses on protecting all participants involved in our game locally.
The theme of this year’s Safeguarding Adults Week is ‘Working in Partnership’, and each day, the Ann Craft Trust will be co-ordinating free webinars focusing on different topics.
The Ann Craft Trust is a leading authority on safeguarding adults; supporting organisations – including sport and activity organisations such as ourselves, to safeguard adults and minimise the risk of harm to adults.
See below for the different topics of webinars that the Ann Craft Trust will be running daily during the week.
Monday – Developing Professional Curiosity
Tuesday – How Do We Listen to People?
Wednesday – Establishing Professional Boundaries
Thursday – Recognising Exploitation
Friday – Professional and Organisational Learning
These themes aim to inspire and encourage people to consider how to work together to establish safer cultures within workspaces and communities.
In addition to these webinars, you can download free resources to learn more about safeguarding adults.
