North Riding Womens League

The North Riding Womens League is the major adult competition within the region, covering York, Middlesbrough, Richmond and Scarborough amongst others.

With our Football Development Officer, Donna Crowthers, as league secretary, the NRWL were awarded Charter Standard status in 2013/14 and continued to pick up momentum throughout the 2014/15 season. More of the same can be expected for the 2015/16 campaign.

A total of 11 teams are involved in the league, playing their games on Sundays at 2pm which are officiated with roll on, roll off substitutions.

The competition also includes a league cup for teams to compete in and offers the opportunity of playing in the North East Regional League for the league champions.
