In 2011, North Riding County FA introduced a new support structure for Refereeing, led by our Referee Development Officer, Ross Joyce. North Riding FA’S Referee Development Team is a new and innovative approach that provides support, assistance and ensures consistency to all of our work programmes across the County. The Referee Development Team also works in partnership with Associations Referees Committee who has overall responsibility for the registration and control of Referees as per FA Regulations.
