North Riding FA is delighted to announce that its Youth Council member, Conall Lacy, has been appointed to the National FA Youth Council. 

Speaking about the appointment, Conall said: “In August 2021, I was fortunate enough to be appointed the role of Innovation Lead for the FA National Youth Council. 

“I found out about this role from originally being a member of the North Riding Youth Council, and then attending the FA Leadership Academy in 2021. 

“The values and mission of the National Youth Council aligned perfectly with mine, which presented a perfect opportunity for me to join the team when I found out that they were looking for a new innovation lead. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help youth leaders be able to make a positive impact in the football community."

Jasmine Morris, Football Development Officer at North Riding FA, added: “It’s fantastic news that Conall has been appointed to the National FA Youth Council and everybody at North Riding FA is very proud of his achievement. We wish Conall all the very best and we look forward to hearing more about his progress.”
