Vacancies - York City FC Foundation Girls RTC

Technical coaches are required

Due to the expansion of its current programme, York City FC Foundation currently have the following vacancies for ‘Technical Coaches’ within its Girls Regional Talent Club Programme:

Foundation Development Phase (U10/11/12 age groups)
Youth Development Phase (U14-16 age groups)
Cover Coaches (Working across all age groups)

York City RTC are one of 13 Tier 1 FA licenced RTCs operating nationally, developing talented female footballers as part of the England Talent Pathway. 

Youth Development Phase (U14-16)

The successful candidate would need to be available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:30 – 7:30pm) & Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) at York St John University Sports Park for technical training sessions which take place at York College alongside a home and way fixture programme which takes place on Saturdays.

Essential
 
UEFA B Coaching Football Qualification
Youth Module 1 & 2
FA Basic First Aid for Sport 
Knowledge and understanding of child protection and hold valid Safeguarding Certificate
Valid FA Coaching Licence 
An understanding of elite female player pathway
Proven ability to plan, deliver, monitor & evaluate coaching sessions
Prior experience of working within player development environments
The ability to support parents and players throughout their time within the programme

Desirable:

UEFA A License
Youth Award (including assessment)
Experience of working within an RTC/Academy environment

Experience & Skillset:

Excellent communication skills
Ability to be a positive role model 
Excellent organisational skills
IT literate
Flexible approach to working within a coaching pair
Good time management skills
Passionate invidual who can bring an energetic approach to their delivery

FA Level 2 Coaching Football Qualification
Youth Module 1 & 2
FA Basic First Aid for Sport
Valid FA Coaching Licence 
Valid Safeguarding Certificate
