THE FA COACHING BURSARY, PROVIDED BY THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, WILL ALLOW YOUTH TEAMS WHO DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE A FA QUALiFIED COACH ATTACHED TO THEM the chance to OBTAIN THIS QUALiFICATION FREE OF CHARGE.

North Riding FA is dedicated to supporting its clubs’ network of dedicated individuals by allowing coaches to take their first step on The FA’s coaching pathway, ensuring that a child’s first experience of football within the club environment is the best it can be.

Through figures collected, it was revealed that 88 youth teams affiliated to the North Riding FA had coaches attached to their team that did NOT have an FA qualification. These coaches, already working with players, will now be able to access FREE FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football courses.
