Daisy Chain Confirmed as North Riding FA Charity Partner

North Riding FA is pleased to confirm that Daisy Chain has been selected as the County FA’s Official Charity Partner for the 2019/20 season.

Established as a charity in 2003, Daisy Chain supports children and adults affected by autism, helping over 2,300 families in the Tees Valley area.

The charity addresses the needs of children on the autistic spectrum and their families across Tees Valley, providing a specialist range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family from their 5.5 acre farm in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees.

Daisy Chain continue to develop facilities and services in line with its founder's vision and the local need, and in 2018 supported more families in more ways than ever before:

378 new families were supported
4,936 respite sessions were provided
40 adults with autism were seen each week

We will be running our partnership with Daisy Chain until May 2020 and will be promoting their upcoming events, including the Daisy Dash on Sunday 6 October and a 5k run, which our Football Operations & Safeguarding Manager, Jennie Bennett, will be participating in.
