This series focuses on 1-v-1 drills that incorporate a range of skill-based attacking and defending scenarios for players to improve their awareness, confidence and ability.

In this particular drill, both players begin in diagonally opposing corners of the pitch. The player with the ball passes to their opponent in the opposite corner, and once the attacker receives the ball the drill begins. Each player must then run around the cone in their respective corner before entering the arena and facing off 1-v-1. This drill tests passing accuracy, close control and 1-v-1 skills. Stay tuned for the next in the series!
