Job Vacancies at North Riding FA

Fancy a job in football? We have two new vacancies at North Riding FA's Stokesley headquarters.

As we enter an exciting phase of change here at North Riding FA we're looking for two special individuals to join the team. Internal promotion and a brand new restructure of Saturday football means we are looking to fill the following positions,

  • Football Development Manager
  • NRFL League Media Officer


FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (FULL TIME)

Salary circa £32-£34,000 pa

This exciting position reports directly to the Chief Executive and will lead the Football Development workforce and co-ordinate and implement The FA’s National Game Strategy within the County.

The role will involve:

  • Managing the Football Development, Referee and Welfare workforce.
  • Lead Officer for facilities and investment – i.e. building, protecting and enhancing sustainable football facilities
  • FA National Game Strategy planning and delivery

To apply you should be of graduate calibre, have experience in sports development and an understanding of The FA’s National Game Strategy. You need to be passionate about, and committed to, the development of football at a local level and be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

NRFL League Media Officer

£1000 Honorarium per season

The North Riding Football League is seeking to recruit a League Media Officer to raise the profile of this new and exciting league.

The position reports directly to the League Management Committee.

The role will include the following key duties: 

  • Managing all social media platforms on behalf of the league
  • Updating the league website with regular news stories
  • Providing local written press with weekly match reports
  • Attending key league & cup matches

To apply you need to be passionate about, and committed to, the development of football at a local level and be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Candidates must demonstrate both team working and the ability to work unsupervised. You should have excellent communication skills. You also need to have a current driving licence and it is essential that you are able to be contacted on evenings and weekends.
