Following the success of the Community Shield Distribution Committee’s £1966 grants to community clubs which marked the anniversary of England’s World Cup win, they have decided to replicate the programme for 2017. 

The Committee will be distributing grants of £2,500 to two grassroots clubs in each County FA.

 To be eligible for the grant, clubs must:

• create an outreach programme for their club to engage with the wider community e.g. schools, organised youth groups.
• engage with groups who are typically are hard to reach and provide recreational football opportunities.
• increase their community presence.

To nominate your club for one of these grants please send an e-mail to info@northridingfa.com outlining how your club would satisfy the criteria above and what the money would be spent on. Applications can be made by clubs competing in the FA National League System up to and including Step 1.

 The deadline for nominations is Monday 24^th April 2017.
