Ross Joyce, North Riding County FA's Referee Development Officer, commented on the promotions handed to both match officials, praising their efforts in ascending a level.

"I am delighted for both Chris and Nick on achieving this fantastic promotion to Level 3, they have both performed very well over the season and this recognises all of their hard work and dedication that they put into refereeing," Joyce said.
