Representing the North Riding County FA is considered a tremendous honour and those who make minimum of10 appearances for the Under 18 squad will be justly rewarded with the presentation of a “County Cap”. The Representative games are also regularly watch by football scouts so they provide the perfect opportunity for those good enough to be selected to possibly further their career in the world of football.
The Management teams hold separate trial and selection sessions for each potential squad and these are usually followed by friendly games against local opposition to assess the players as a unit. The Management teams also visit as many local games as they possibly can to see players competing in their own local environment.
Competitive games start towards the end of September so, if you consider yourself or you know of anybody good and skilful enough to play representative football then please contact the Association’s offices on 01642 717770 or e-mail info@northridingfa.com
Whatever the outcomes of this forthcoming season are, the Association hopes that everybody involved in each of its Representative Teams enjoys their experience and represents the County with pride.
