At Pickering Town's Mill Lane ground last night Pickering faced a strong Middlebrough side and it looked as though they just might gat through to the Semi Finals after a 3 - 3 draw after 90 minutes. Unfortunately in the penalty shoot out that followed it was the Championship Side that won through with a 4-3 score and will now take their place in the Semi Final line up.
In the other game between Stokesley FC and Thornaby FC held at The Lotus Electrical & Mechanical Stadium - Stokesley ran out 4 - 2 comfortable winners and will now face Middlesbrough FC at home at a date to be arranged.
The full semi final line up is as follows:
Northallerton FC v York City FC
Stokesley FC v Middlesbrough FC
Ties will be played by the end of March 2010.
