Teams form across the county will compete in the U14s and U16s North Riding Challenge Cups with the chance to represent the County in the home international football competition, the Tesco Cup. The winning team from each age group will go on to compete at area, regional, and National rounds to represent their country in the UK Final.
With 38 English County FAs participating last season, and over 3,300 teams taking part across the UK, a record number of teams are expected to take part in the 2008/09 Tesco Cup, providing a unique opportunity for girls to compete for a chance to become overall UK Champions and lift the winner’s trophy.
The North Riding Challenge Cups will kick off in the New Year, with the fixtures to be drawn in January, so there's still time to enter a team!
