The FA Tesco Skills Programme is all about getting kid active by improving there football skills. This revolutionary approach to football coaching gives children more time with the ball and aims to increase confidence and improve decision making so children get more enjoyment from playing football. The half term coaching sessions will run from 10am – 12pm, and from 1pm – 3pm over 4 days and are completely free. Children will play games specifically designed for their age group by our specialist coaches.
280 children benefited from FREE coaching in the North Riding alone in the February half term across 3 different events at Northallerton College and 2 events in York at Huntington secondary school and York College. All events were fully booked early and proved yet again to be a massive success with some players enrolling at local FA skills centers and new players joining local charter standard clubs.
