The FA School–Club Link Programme is football’s commitment to the delivery of the Physical Education and School Sport Club Links (PESSCL) strategy document, which sets out to ensure that all children, whatever their circumstances or abilities, should be able to participate in and enjoy physical education and sport.
The NRCFA Football Development team submit an annual delivery plan to The FA to secure funding to deliver a number of these projects. The programme aims to foster closer, more mutually beneficial relationships between FA Charter Standard Clubs and their local FA Charter Standard Schools.
Projects will usually involve some school and club based coaching sessions along with a festival at one of the sites. Equipment and promotional resources are available to clubs to support them to deliver the project.
If you are a club that is looking to start a new team or wanting to develop a girls or disability section the School-Club Link programme is there to support you.
