Steven Wade
Steve has recently taken over the role of CDM from Mark Coulson, who has left us to work for The FA, and heads up the Football Development Department within the County FA playing a key role within the Football Development and Facilities Strategies, as well as managing and supporting the staff to deliver the core programmes.
Steve oversees all aspects of the County’s football development initiatives with particular reference to Club Development and Education. Steve’s main areas of work include:
- Charter Standard- clubs & leagues
- School- Club Link Programmes
- Disability football
- Volunteer development
- Social inclusion projects
- Race Equality
Steve graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Sports Studies and, worked for the City of Sunderland’s Sports Development Unit before joining the North Riding FA in April 2005. Steve is an FA Level 2 coach and keen follower of Newcastle United. He currently plays for Rutherford AFC in the Re/Max Northern Alliance League.
