Emily delivers the Women & Girls' Programme for North Riding County FA. Leading on FA development initiatives such as the Female Mentoring Scheme and the Clubs-Links Programme, Emily's main focus is increasing the number of female teams and coaches within the County, creating more opportunities for girls to play football.
Emily graduated from the University of Leeds with an Honours Degree and Masters Degree in Sustainable Development and continues to follow her thesis research interest in 'sport for development.'
Prior to working for the North Riding FA Emily worked as a football development officer and coach in North Yorkshire and in the United States and currently coaches at the Middlesbrough Girls Centre of Excellence. She plays for Thirsk Falcons Ladies F.C. and supports Middlesbrough F.C.
