We also provide the appropriate structures and systems to enable the Association to control, manage, regulate and promote the game within the North Riding area. This enables us to assist with the development of the game at all levels, ensuring we are able to increase the quality and quantity of participation across the various sections of participation.
The North Riding moved to its Stokesley headquarters in August 2003 after the completion of its new £1.4m facility in conjunction with Stokesley Sports Club. The project was completed thanks to funding from the following parties:-
The Football Foundation - £875,000
The Football Association - £150,000
Hambleton District Council - £5,000
As well as funding from the NRCFA - £320,000
And Stokesley Sports Club – £50,000
The project included the purchase of 9.46 acres of land providing three senior pitches, several junior pitches, coaching facilities (Including changing rooms) and an astro turfed multi use games area.
The second phase of the project saw floodlights added in May 2004 and covered and seated accommodation for over 200 people, including provision for disabled spectators, in the summer of 2006. This facility comes with the option to increase the capacity on a modular basis at any time in the future.
